First trips

This was the starting point.

I did my moto license mid-November 2019, it was my last attempt to exam and last day of exams that year. Five months of hard work, doing moto course, practicing, and trying to complete the exam. If failed, I said to myself, I need to wait until spring and my beautiful F700 GS was already parked in our garage, waiting there for me.

I did it 🙂 Week after exam I was holding my moto license and was ready to go. It was Daniel’s birthday so perfect timing for the first trip together on separate bikes. Amazing experience.

With each kilometer I was more and more conscious of how little I know but it did not prevent me from riding every possible day.

First trip – Daniel’s birthday

Our first trip was around the chimney as we say in Poland, so just wondering around.

Second trip – by myself

Week later, being alone for the weekend I decided to visit Bebniaminów Forteresse. Beautiful although abandoned place. I drove down to the fortress to walk around, shouldn’t do it as the ground was covered with sticks so of course I landed on the ground together with my bike. Cross biker helped me to pick the beast up and nothing was wrong but got scared a little.

Third trip – Kampinos

As there was almost no winter at that time in Poland we had a chance to ride and I had a chance to practice. Fortunately for me, January brought some warmer days and I decided to do for my fist alone trip outside the city. Chosen Kampinos National Park as my destination. It was a nice 120 km trip for an inexperienced rider. Got time to drive slowly through the Park, rest, get a little cold. After 3 h I was back home safe and sound. Another small victory on my bike’s learning path.

With Daniel’s patience to watch over me, make notes of my mistakes in his head to discuss them afterward with me we had a perfect day.
