I was waiting for the first off-road trip. Because my excitement was combined with fear it hardly let me sleep the night before. Thousands of questions in my head. Will I make it, what if I fall hard, what if I cannot make it on sand. I knew no answers, had to try it to see how it works.
Therefore, we decided to do it easily, as a very short trip along the Vistula River in the suburbs of Warsaw towards Konstancin-Jeziorna.
The road was mostly tarmac with some gravel sections and dirt roads. I was scared to death sometimes, as practicing is one thing but putting it into usage when you are traveling is different. Therefore Daniel reminded me all the time to relax, take stress off shoulders and loosen the grip of hands. Honestly sometimes it worked sometimes it didn’t, but I had so much fun and was so proud I managed, that the stress I felt the next day on my body didn’t matter.
That was the beginning of our off-road together. Warm April encouraged us to plan the next trips.
